Question #1I noticed that you have theme-based templates, however I need something unique for our website.  Can you do that?
Answer:Yes.  SiteMajic gives you the freedom to choose between custom and template packages.  Our custom packages let us custom-design a site for your business and style.

Question #2Can I use SiteMajic if I have an existing website?
Answer:Yes.  We can convert your existing site to SiteMajic for a surprisingly affordable fee.

Question #3How do I log into my site?
Answer:At the bottom of your site, there is an Admin link.  Click on it and enter your assigned user name and password.  You will then be logged into the administration mode and ready to work on your site.

Question #4Can I have more than one administrator to my site?
Answer:Yes.  The master account has web publishing capabilities and is usually assigned to the owner or manager to review content before it is made live.  Some clients choose to give access to one or more of their employees using a specific account that has no web publishing privileges.

Question #5Can anyone administer my website?
Answer:No.  Only people assigned user names and passwords may administer your website.  

Question #6What security measures have been taken to avoid someone entering my site and changing the content?
Answer:Users have only three attempts to enter the administration area of the website before they are locked out.  Once someone has made three unsuccessful attempts, our webserver tracks the IP Address (Internet Protocol Address) of the computer that the person is using to try and enter your site, and prevents further attempts.

Question #7I am attempting to log in to my website and it says that I am locked out.  What does that mean?
Answer:If you are locked out of your website, that means you have failed your log in attempts a total of 10 times.  We track all attempts.  After your 10th failed attempt you will be prompted to contact support.  

Question #8Is there a time limit that I can be in Administration Mode?
Answer:There is no limit to the length of time that you may work in Administration Mode, however there is a three-hour time out limit for those who leave their computer while in Administration Mode.  

Question #9When working on a web page, I clicked "Save Changes" but received  the Administration Log-In screen.  Why?
Answer:When you work on the same page for longer than three hours without clicking on "Save Changes,"  the Administration Log-In screen will appear.  Be sure to "Save Changes" often, especially if you plan on leaving your computer.

Question #10How will I know if I have exceeded the time out limit?  What will happen?
Answer:You will know that you have exceeded the time out limit when you click on a button or menu item on the site and you see the Administration Log-In screen.

Question #11When I log in to my SiteMajic website, I only have two options, Edit Site Profile and My Billing.  When I attempt to edit any of my pages, I receive a message about My Billing.  What is happening?
Answer:You will only receive this message when you have an expired e-Bill awaiting payment.  Once that e-Bill has been paid, you will regain complete control of the website.

Answer:You can pay by cash, cheque or credit card.
